Winterport Boot Shop Postcard Design
For this project, I was honored to be asked by Winterport Boot Shop to create a 4” x 6” postcard to be included in their online orders. The postcard would thank their customers and encourage them to shop with them again.
Postcard Front
The goal was to create a retro look while maintaining readability and conveying a friendly vibe. To achieve this, I used the Nougut Script display font from Adobe for the words "Thank you" and added tiny stars around them to emphasize gratitude. For the main message on the card, I used a combination of the Adobe fronts Dunbar Tall and Dunbar Low in regular and bold fonts.
Postcard Back
The back of the postcard showcases the company's long-standing dedication to customer service and features its original logo. I was responsible for correcting the misprint on the logo from 1975 to 1974. I also included their location as this postcard will be included in their online orders. I thought it would be a nice touch to show customers from outside the Brewer, Maine, area where their order originally shipped from.
