Typography Formatting Project

As part of this project, we were required to modify font properties such as kerning, tracking, size, weight, justification, etc. to reinforce the meaning of a phrase. The composition of each phrase was to fit within a 6 x 6-inch square, which was created with a 1pt black stroke on an 8.5 x 11” page. The objective was to assess the effectiveness of each version. Our instructor provided us with various quotes to choose from, and these are my top six compositions, consisting of three different versions of two quotes.
